In 1996, the International Cooperation and Development Fund of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs appointed CECI to undertake a planning and feasibility study for a new town development in Asuncion, the capital of Paraguay. Located on the northwest side of the Paraguay River, the site area covered 34,000 hectares and the main work included data collection and analysis, arranging the scope of development, drafting developmental schemes, land usage analysis, land deployment plans and layouts, drainage and flood protection study and the study for connecting transportation. |
